Our products are mostly made from Wheat and/or multi-grain Flour.

It depends on the temperature of the food/drink ranging 20 minutes for hot and up to an hour for cold food and beverage.

Our products are best before 18 months from manufacture date. It can stay good for up to 3 months beyond expiry date; however, some change in taste may occur.
It can lose crispiness if the packet is opened and spoons are left in the open. It can still be edible with some change in taste. Since our edible cutlery is made with flours, it can also be contaminated by frequent touching and moisture in the open atmosphere. You may wish to consider storing open packs in a sealable box / zip lock bag.
It can be used a few times for dry food items like – salt, spices, powders, tea, coffee, sugar etc. Our edible spoon is like a biscuit, it will absorb moisture and may turn soggy if left in the open air. As you would do with other food items, use the same spoon in the same food item to avoid cross-contamination.

Unlikely. Our products are made to complement your food. It is not expected to overpower the taste of your food item.

Wheat and Gluten. Please check ingredients and nutrition facts before using for any other allergen.
Not yet, but we are conscious of the demand for Gluten-free edible cutlery. Our research team is working on developing a Gluten-free option. Stay tuned for updates.
 
As edible cutlery is made from naturally sourced materials, it is unlikely to cause any side effects if you eat them regularly.
 

Our edible cutlery is designed for human consumption with or after your meal, minimising disposable cutlery waste. If not eaten, edible cutlery can be put into Green Organic Recycling for composting, where it will naturally biodegrade within 1 to 2 weeks. As it is made from naturally sourced ingredients, it is perfectly safe for backyard composting as well. If put in landfill/General waste, it should still decompose, but it may take longer subject to external conditions.”

Our plastic usage is minimal – less than 5% of overall packaging used. And we will be offsetting 100% for plastic usage, energy and carbon footprint through our partners.
 

Edible cutlery is a baked product, hardened for intended use as spoon/straw etc. Please use individual judgement before biting into edible cutlery as we value your smile more than the edible cutlery. Happy eating!

Shipping and Refund Policies


Orders received before 5pm are dispatched typically within 3 business days and the delivery typically takes 5-10 days for standard delivery to metro regions. Possibly longer for regional areas.

Currently we only ship within Australia. But will be expanding our delivery network in the future. If you are interested, we may be able to put you in touch with an edible cutlery supplier in your country of residence. Please email us at hello@ediblecutlery.au with your request.
While all of our edible cutlery products are packed to make sure they arrive safely without damage, we understand that things like this can happen during transport. We will offer credit for broken cutlery in your next purchase provided you contact us within one 3 days from delivery of your order. Please contact us if you wish to receive a refund for broken cutlery items.
Once the item is marked as shipped, a tracking number will be issued and shared with you. Unfortunately, we can’t make any changes to your delivery address once tracking number is emailed to you. Please contact our shipping partner (with tracking details) to check if you can redirect your order to the correct address. Please contact our support team for further assistance.
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours after placing the order. Once the order is marked as shipped the cancellation request will no longer be accepted. Please contact our support team for further assistance.
